Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing HunterSMART™(SIMPLEconnect®) on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. Ever since I linked the app to my fans. The lights and fans turn themselves on/off randomly. And most of the time they don't link to my phone when trying to control them from the app.

For the most part it works however it's incredibly slow to do anything. Once you open it you have to wait about 1 minutes before the status of all the device update. Then when you choose an action there's a 30 second delay be for the device does the action. Update after October 2024. They completely fix the slow response. I'm pretty happy with the over performance. I wish it more options for third party integration. Like with lutron.

App will not control fan. Alexa does not work. It did right after the October update but did not last and now will not connect.

Amazon Alexa process: To use your fan with Alexa, first, add your device(s) in the SIMPLEconnect® app. Once your fan(s) are added to your SIMPLEconnect® account, activate the Amazon Alexa skill "Hunter – SIMPLEconnect® Smart Ceiling Fan" and enter your SIMPLEconnect® credentials to link your fan to Alexa control.
