About this app

The researchers collaborated with the College of Allied Health students in National University that are studying “Anatomy and Physiology” subject to develop a mobile application that can expose the different organ systems of the human anatomy through a 3D body model. The researchers and the beneficiary decided that the researchers will focus on the technical aspect and the content of the application will be depending on the decision of the beneficiary. When it comes to the assessment module of the application, the researchers will follow the suggested form of assessment test.
Developing the application will help students to gain knowledge when it comes to human anatomy and its functions. Today, there are only few students who are taking up the subject “Anatomy and Physiology”. They are only one section for pharmacy, nursing and psychology. They are using textbooks and anatomy atlases as a reference and an anatomical model when they are discussing gross anatomy. Implementing the proposed mobile application would be incredibly helpful in student’s learning experience.
