About this app

HT GIFA is an initiative by Hindustan Times for the service of the community. There couldn’t have been a better way than sports to impact the lives of people - kids who will shape the future of tomorrow and parents who are the torchbearers of present.
Hindustan Times is organizing HT GIFA, a large scale inter locality kids football tournament in the months of August and September this year. HT GIFA is open to locality/RWA teams across Delhi NCR. There are 306 teams from Delhi and 153 teams from Gurgaon. The tournament will have more than 450 matches played over a 3 week period (weekends only).
We have FC Barcelona as our technical partners and the kids were trained by FCBEScola prior to the tournament. The kids have had FCBEscola Coaching Experience and are kicked about GIFA. There are two categories of participation –
1. 5th Std – 8th Std
2. 9th Std – 12th Std
The match dates for HT GIFA are –
1. Weekend 1 – 26th and 27th Sept
2. Weekend 2 – 3rd and 4th Oct
3. Weekend 3 – 10th and 11th Oct

HT GIFA will be a scale event where the kids will get to have a grand experience of playing in a world class football tournament.
