This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing HSK Chinese Learning Assistant on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

in the flashcard section, though the boxesbare large enough for the chinese characters it is sometimes too small for the english definitions. The boxes need to be large enough for the longest english definitions.

Used this app to prepare for HSK 5. Maybe you should have a flash card or test option with only characters, no pinyin.

Very good. Run OK on Android 6 but crash and don't run under Android 7 nougat. Would be 5stars if it supports nougat.

I really like this app and plan to purchase it soon. Please make the characters larger and keep the other buttons smaller. I need to see the texts and not the buttons. Thanks for allowing me to try out the demo. It is a great app and has room for improvement. Way too much ads every few sec. Do NOT waste your time. Use Anki instead, which is completely free without ads and does the same thing.

I agree with a previous review stating ads are intrusive. I usually have no problem with ads or paying for content. However I don't appreciate having ads thrown at me every 30 seconds! They are SO frustrating that I have decided to delete rather than explore the app further before purchasing. There are many better FREE apps available, although this is not terrible. I would suggest limiting the frequency of adverts rather than barraging users and putting them off a sale.

HSK Chinese Learning Assistant is a comprehensive app for learning for the HSK exam.

It contains all required phrases for all six level of HSK.
You can test your knowledge of Chinese using either Flashcards or multiple answer tests. There are four learning modes: Chinese-to-English, English-to-Chniese, PinYin, Tones.

You can build your customized list of phrases that you want to focus on. You can then run flashcards, multiple answer test on it or export the list.

App additionally offers built in dictionary, searchable using pinyin or Chinese characters.

Chinese Web Reader - an embedded web browser, which upon touching Chinese text shows pop-up with character explanation.

Chinese Text Reader - for pasting Chinese text from clipboard or reading from text file and showing pop-up with character explanation.

All phrases can be pronounced by the app, using TTS engine.

You can backup and restore your progress, when you need to reset your device or you need to move app to new device.

The best at the end; the app comes for free.
There are some slightly annoying ads, but you can also get rid of them by a very small fee.
