Awesome station. Alan on there is getting funnier all the time. Way better than a general station, feels like you're with the station and not just listening to the usual. Good music, and good chance of a request served. Although a regional station.... It doesn't matter if you're t'other side of the world, random enough to not matter where you are. Keep it up howfen 😁

About this app

Howfen Radio is a community radio station with a difference, we broadcast over the world wide web and unlike other community stations we broadcast all year round. It is run completely by volunteers and we air live Mondays to Fridays 11am to 3pm (UK time) and Saturdays 11am to 4pm.
We have a variety of shows featuring music from all the decades from the '60's right through to modern classics. Our presenters vary in ages from our youngest Erin who is 11, right through to 65 years old.
We are constantly on the lookout for new volunteers to help us run the station and help us put on road shows at local community and fundraising events. We also put on a small music festival annually at the end of the summer which is free to enter and put on a variety of acts to suit all tastes.
