I paid for the annual subscription about 8 months ago. At the time, it was fantastic! Locally several of my favorite places accepted it, one of which was a craft beer bar that rotated their hooch beer regularly, I probably made my hundred dollars back in the first couple months just from that - it was super fun. Yes, a couple times I went to a new place Hooch said participated, and the bar said they absolutely did not, but it was still worthwhile. But they also promised invites to events, which never happened - back when they were still claiming that (seems like they retroactively require Black now), I actually RSVP'd to one event in DTLA, which they canceled, but never told us that, so I got there and there wasn't an event. Never actually went to a single actually-happening event. So that's not ideal. Then as time went on, most of the places locally I actually cared about either closed, changed ownership, or just stopped participating, so now I barely use the app at all, even though I paid for it - they're always promising new bars, and expansion into more cities, but I haven't seen it. So it gradually got less and less useful. Sort of had a feeling it wouldn't be sustainable.

Horrible app!! I have referred 2 of my friends and did not receive credit for either of them. I know they did everything needed because I was sitting next to them when they signed up and connected bank/card. I would give negative stars if it were possible. I contacted support and nothing was done. Worst app I have ever downloaded.

Terrible. Grabs all your banking information when trying to link 1 card and the design does is such that it is unclear how to remove it. Not active outside their 'top cities.' It took weeks of emails, to be removed (mostly) from their system. I was told so many times that they are unable to delete accounts (yes you can remove your financial info) I still doubt that last email I was sent stating my information has been removed. I keep every email just in case. Terrible experience & useless app

I have been trying to download this app for over a week. It either just keeps loading or tells me i need to delete other apps to install. I have deleted EVERY app that was not built into my phone. still wont install--literally tried 22 times plus the few times before i started counting. my daughter also tried several times on a different model phone AND different phone carrier--would not install for her either.

i got the $5 and then one cent was taken (enough i cant cash out at $15 without adding 4 cards!) and support hasnt done anything about it. i cant refer people to an app i havent seen pay out. * It most definitely wasnt fixed. My husband and i both deleted it. its just one less app i bother promoting.

Definitely a wonderful find and quite useful too considering I live in a bar heavy type of town. Worth it for those that go out pretty often that drinks can sometimes be very pricey. All in all will definitely have a place in my phone,lol.
