The globe is changing, and so are our local communities. People from all over the world now live side by side as neighbours. Hometrotter is here to make it easier to meet and share skills, knowledge and beautiful moments across cultural boundaries. You can experience other people’s culture by attending their events, or you can create one yourself.

New features

Comments are here! Talk to other hometrotters about the event you’re interested in, ask the host questions, engage yourself in the discussion, and warm up the atmosphere before the big day! With the new comment feature, you are now able to do all that and stay in touch with the people you met on your journey.
Other fixes: app blinking, occasional double openings, infinite loading screens, publishing new events and editing just created events, adding long bio texts, performance improvements.

App Permissions

Allows applications to access information about networks.
Allows applications to open network sockets.
Allows an app to create windows using the type TYPE_APPLICATION_OVERLAY, shown on top of all other apps.
Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.
Allows an application to read from external storage.
Allows an application to write to external storage.
Allows an application to modify global audio settings.
Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.
Allows an application to request installing packages.
Allows applications to access information about Wi-Fi networks.
