You cannot ask us or say its difficult. Harder then you think when all the fiscal,earmarks, fed. Agencies , and all the other things that can play in to this that isn't there as a tool to use. On the other hand it is a solid app with great opportunitys and is something that should be tweaked and implemented as an option for our govern and unitiy instead of such a division that keeps on growing

The biggest problem with this app and D.C. itself is the market isn't a static entity. Logic dictates if you raise taxes you collect more money; but the market of more fluid in reality. It has been proven time and time again. Cutting taxes increases revenue by producing growth. Raising taxes slows the economy and decreases revenue. Austrian Economics wins over Keynes Economics every time!

No updates with modern analysis. And huge sections of the CBO's options are excluded. There's reports on their recommendations and options monthly and this app ignores 100% of them. Developers are too flaky to update with meaningful data.

I love the simplified introduction to a complex matter. Reading the Congressional Budget Office's proposals has never been easier, or their long-term effects more clearly understood!

Good concept but its very limited on cuts. You can't cut any programs and you have to raise taxes to break even... needs to be more open to cuts and have effects of cuts and taxes. IE less corporate taxes creates more jobs so payroll taxes are impacted etc.

If you are sick and tired of politicians negotiating our future behind closed doors, then take matters into your own hands and fix the problem yourself.

This app lets you make over one hundred spending cuts and tax increases, all calculated by the Congressional Budget Office (a non-partisan office of Congress). Do you think taxes on the rich should be increased? Do it. It won't eliminate the deficit. How about increasing the Social Security retirement age? Not enough either.

You make the tough choices. Then when you've got it figured out send a report to your friends or to your elected representatives in Congress.

Whether you are Republican, Democrat, Independent or Tea Party; whether you are young or old, black or white, tall or short it won't be easy. But it's not impossible and our elected officials need to hear from us in a more meaningful way than just shouting at them in town hall meetings.

All the data presented in this app is from the CBO. There's no partisan spin here, just real facts on what it will take.
