Just imagine how our marriages, families and in turn the cause of Christ would be forever changed if godly wives took seriously their responsibility to pray for their husbands.  We know that we are commanded to pray—and to pray daily and specifically for our husbands.  Sadly, that mandate too often gets pushed aside, to Satan’s delight and our detriment, by the hectic pace of our lives.  Prayers of An Excellent Wife provides a template that if used properly will indeed produce excellent wives who faithfully and passionately pray God’s word for their precious husbands.  Andrew Case has skillfully compiled scores of poignant scriptural passages that when raised to God’s ear by the sincerity of a praying wife will move mountains.  I encourage Christian women everywhere to embrace this privilege that is ours to pray.  I recommend this book as an excellent resource to intentionally do so.  May we never underestimate how God will use our earnest prayers to raise up husbands who will lovingly lead their wives and families; who will be emboldened for the arduous work of the Kingdom, and who will eagerly seek to glorify the name of Christ alone.
