Always worked fine until this year where Moses of the effects don't play thier sound like they should do and the app crashes every minute. Makers please fix this. update : And still no response. Don't buy this app people. They stoped development and it doesn't work at this point.

Doesn't work. Can't scroll all way along, still shows 3 lots of fx and backgrounds to select. Always have to resync with hue hub. Crashes every time you use. More times than not have to press each tile twice to get sound to play. UI needs overhaul, must better apps similar where you can easily scroll through each lot if tiles and icons.

Aha!! This is the app I was looking for! I tried their other free app for parties, but I was really looking for a way to make my lights look like a haunted house. This is great! There's almost too many options, but I can't complain (and they say there'll be more?). I can see there are still some rough edges, as "promised"... looking forward to seeing the improvements.

About this app

Thie H3Maker is like a remote control for your own haunted house. Choose from one of five different scenes (or use them all!):

* The Graveyard
* Creatures of the Night
* Haunted House
* Poltergeists
* Witch Kitchen
* Demonic Rituals

Coming soon:
* Torture Chamber
* Horror Theater

Each scene includes 4 background moods (sounds and light themes), plus up to 12 "effects" for you to play with.

HUE LIGHTS NOT REQUIRED

Even if you don't have (or don't want to) use the Philips Hue lights, you can use this app as an advanced Halloween sound board! Just pair with a bluetooth speaker, and you have over 70 special effects and over 30 background themes do choose from.

MAKE YOUR OWN

The sounds were carefully selected to match each theme, but there's no reason to limit yourself. Feel free to swap between scenes to choose different effects on the fly. You can also overlap background moods from the same or from other themes. The lights will follow the first theme you selected, but the sounds will play together.

WORKS WITH THE HUE MOTION SENSOR

You can set up your motion sensor to detect when someone approaches (trick-or-treaters, anyone??) and have it switch on the haunted house. It will turn itself off as soon as they walk away.

NOW WITH LITTLEBITS INTEGRATION!

If you have littleBits cloudBits, you can now trigger them along with any of the effects buttons. Make a skull's eyes light up! Make a skeleton dance! Whatever your imagination can conjure - it can now be part of your Haunted House Maker.

Configure your cloudBits in the Configurations menu (you can make more than one per cloudBit), then return to the haunted house scenes. Pick an effects button of your choice, hold the button down until the menu pops up, and choose the littleBits configuration you'd like. Then, whenever you press that button, it will make a sound, flash the lights, AND trigger your cloudBit.

ALSO NOW FEATURING IFTTT SUPPORT!

Configure IFTTT Webhooks to go off when you press a button. Just like with littleBits configurations, you can long-press any FX button and add a call to an IFTTT recipe. Smart home automation for your haunted house is a click away!

COMING THIS MONTH

* 2 new haunted house scenes, each with its own unique sounds and light effects

Thanks, and Happy Halloween!

New features

Happy Halloween!
Plenty of goodies here:

* New Scene: Torture Chamber!
* Cleaned up some sounds
* Added some more splash screen quotes from our resident spooks
* New feature: Return to normal!

Choose a Hue scene that will be called whenever you stop all the background effects. No more need to reconfigure your lights after every use. Also perfect with the Hue Motion Sensor. When trick-or-treaters go away, your doorway will automatically turn back to "normal" until the next scare!
