I like the app and website. The only msjor drawback is you have to wait and depend on others to provide updates on where the heritage units are or you can miss them altogether. If each had GPS on them then it be much easier

I have used this app and the website for railfanning for over 2 years now, both trackside and for webcams. It is very helpful, but not all the time, thanks to jerks who want to post fake reports, which is a big downside for HeritageUnits. Overall, it is a great app. I like how you can pick certain locomotives to track in the "Latest Locations" section (actual heritage units, BNSF Warbonnets, CSX emblem units, etc). Very useful app.

Awesome app! I do wish that they would add the New Haven P32 units (Metro-North) and P32 #213, Metro-North's only named P32. Great app!

Bumping back up as the website lists steps tip fix this issue (they might want to add that here as well). Clearing the cache seems to fix the error in the app. Leaving original content below on case others hit this issue. ************************************************* Great when it worked. Now all I get is the HU.Managers.ApiException error like the others. App hasn't worked now in a few weeks. Multiple installs and reinstalls with no change. Hope this gets corrected soon.
