Very good app! Learning Greek to read the New Testament? Get the following books and you'll be well outfitted: Athenaze books I and II (skip the workbooks), Langenscheidt pocket Greek dictionary, the "Greek Paradigm Handbook", this app and the concise Oxford Greek grammar (or the complete Smyth Greek grammar). This app is highly useful and I recommend it. It could be improved with a way to bookmark particularly troublesome terms to allow the user to focus on those terms. Χαιρετε!

There are no instructions for this app and there is no coherent navigation through the vocabulary lists. Is there any rhyme or reason to this app?

About this app

Flash-It Greek helps Biblical Greek students master and maintain their New Testament Greek vocabulary. The pro version includes all Greek words with 15+, 30+ and 50+ occurrences. The 30+ word stack is designed to prepare students to use the Reader’s Greek New Testament, which provides English definitions for Greek words with less than 30 occurrences in the footnotes. There is also a free version for beginning students which is limited to Greek words with 50 or more New Testament occurrences, mirroring most introductory Greek textbooks. Key features include:

+ Swipe to move through cards

+ Loops back to the beginning after the last word in the stack

+ Several card stacks and sorts to pick from:
1) 50+ New Testament occurrences, descending order
2) 50+ New Testament occurrences, shuffled
3) 30+ New Testament occurrences, descending order (PRO version)
4) 30+ New Testament occurrences, shuffled (PRO version)
5) 15+ New Testament occurrences, descending order (PRO version)
6) 15+ New Testament occurrences, shuffled (PRO version)

+ Remembers the last stack viewed and position in each stack.

+ For descending stacks, select a natural starting point (e.g. start with words with 49 or more occurrences).

+ Reports stack position relative to total words in stack.

+ Counts number of words reviewed in the current session.

+ Reports current stack and sort and New Testament occurrence of the displayed word
