This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing FB Most Recent on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. About this app

If you're like me and you'd prefer to view your Facebook news feed by "Most Recent" order instead of Facebook's preferred "Top Stories" view, then this is the app for you!

Instead of having to navigate Facebook's settings menu and find the "Most Recent" feed every time you open the app, you can now have one-touch access to it.

Simply tap the "FB Most Recent" icon in your favorite launcher or on your home screen and it will launch the official Facebook app (assuming you have it installed) and display your "Most Recent" feed automatically.

To access the rest of the Facebook app, just tap the Back key on your device.

Usage notes:

1) This app requires the official Facebook app to be installed.

2) When you first launch the app, it may ask you to set an app to be the default handler (NOTE: you may need to tap the Back button to see the prompt). Choose the "Facebook" app from the list and select "Always" (instead of "Just Once"). Selecting "Always" will ensure you never get prompted with this message again.

3) If when you load the app the page never updates, you may need to uninstall the Facebook app and re-install it. This should fix this issue.
