● Currently attend an HBCU and want to give back to the university you
love.
● Attended an HBCU and want to donate to the alma maters of you and
your friends, even if your amount might be small right now.
● You generally want to support Historically Black Colleges and
Institutions to ensure the continued legacy of cultural and academic
excellence for future generations!
● You know that an integral part of moving the Black community forward is
unity, and you want to join others in continuing to uplift our community.

HOW IT WORKS
I Heart My HBCU is fast and easy to use! Users can download the app to their mobile device and link their bank account in as little as 60 seconds. Once connected, The I Heart My HBCU app will round change up to the nearest dollar from each credit or debit card purchase. The spare change will then be donated to the user’s five favorite . You can decide how the amount is divided amongst your five HBCUs and once your spare change reaches $5, a donation will automatically be distributed accordingly. But that’s not all! There are other ways to donate as well. You can set recurring weekly or monthly donations of at least $5 so that you can engage in automatic giving of larger amounts. Or you can give a one -time donation for the culture! However, you choose to do it, I Heart My HBCU helps you support the institutions you care about with ease.

● Divine 9 community chatrooms
● HBCU Profile Pages that display the total spare change donated
● A leaderboard ranking schools each month based on spare change
donations
● Adopt an HBCU – a page that allows users to adopt an HBCU, join an
alumni club, or support an HBCU Department such as a sports team,
band, or even the business school, etc.!
● Dashboard with displays for bank account(s) linked, donation
distribution, and donation options
