This is a good app - I've been looking for a NRSV app for ages so thank you. However, I have to agree with some other users that the navigation is a little clunky. The ability to swipe left or right to go forward or back a chapter like I can with my Tecarta NIV would enhance the app considerably.

Nice clean organization but no search function. Serious deficiency. Shows book and chapter headings - big plus. Some popular Bible apps don't show this info. Good for finding text but you must go elsewhere to find key words.

It's nice to have the NRSV as a free app, but the layout of this app is not conducive to biblical study. Navigation is inconvenient - it would be nice to be able to go between chapters without having to go back to an index. Also sorely missing are references and notes, making it difficult to look up commentary or word study.

I only wish there were a setting to make the text white on black for when I'm reading in the dark so the screen isn't quite so bright.

NRSV is the most reliable version ever... Easy to understand... but new updates stops sms feature... i would have given 5 stars if developer had put facebook sharing and sms feature...
