Works for me but I do wish I could use it in portrait or landscape on my tablet, at the moment it forces me to landscape and I am normally in portrait. Please please let me choose how I want to see my user interface... Latest update seems to have lost support for chromecast over ethernet so i have dropped a star.

I don't understand. I just got the NP5 today. Set it up. Music sounds great. All my music was there. Now a few hours later, maybe it's had an update or something but it only goes up to the letter M in my music collection. I wanted to play an album starting with T. No luck and the artist starts with S so can't do that either even though when I got the unit earlier it was able to. It worked so well before. Now I can barely play one song and it crashes. I don't think I'm gonna keep this device now

It is great to find that Primare have taken the trouble to address the many issues with the original and produced a stable and rather elegant app. I believe they undertook a complete rebuild of the app. The app makes the connection to my NP5 every time and remains connected without issue. For the next revision it would be great to have an option for portrait orientation rather than the forced landscape on my smaller Nexus 7 and TAB A tablets. Also the app is a bit cluttered with default 'cast services' icons in the Source menu that I would like to be able to remove (or even add to). For a small specialist audio company to pay such attention to improving their app offering is to be commended. This makes for a great user experience. And today (17 Jan) a seamless update makes the NP5 fully Roon ready.

Just to bring some defence for this app, it works perfectly fine for me on my Huawei P20 Pro with the latest available Android build. Very quick and responsive and the correct portrait orientation. It initially had some conflict with Google Home but then I wired it up and all discovery went through fine.

Latest android update stops connection with my NP5. Can no longer connect to the device through the app, nor can I connect via Roon ready (activated as a beta user/developer), although it connects by Chromecast and airplay. However it all seems to work fine via the iPhone app, including Roon Ready... Please fix the android app.

The most recent update has vastly improved this app. It now works properly on phones. It has taken a year but finally the app and the NP5 work as was promised.
