Jika kita merasa diri paling benar jalannya paling sunnah ibadahnya akan tetapi gemar mencela dan memvonis jelek saudaranya, itu adalah termasuk kesombongan.Karena menurut Rasulullah saw kesombongan itu adalah menolak kebenaran (ajaran islam) dan meremehkan orang lain (yang ia anggap lebih rendah darinya). Sombong dan merasa diri paling benar termasuk akhlaq yang tercela dan tidak termasuk akhlaq barisan ahlussunah wal jama'ah.
