GumPay makes it super easy to pay to small businesses without using actual cash.

GumPay is a no-fee payment solution for small businesses. It is made possible by not connecting to any banks or using any credit cards to ensure payment privacy and help small businesses to avoid bank charge.

Start accepting GumPay payment today by simply downloading this app, setup your shop profile and you can instantly start accepting payments from users with just a QR code!

Currently only available in Hong Kong, you can use this app to accept payment from customer by simply displaying your GumPay Merchant QR code, or enter customer can use the GumPay app to top up their wallet (Hong Kong Dollars) by giving the equ cash a. To pay with GumPay, simply open your GumPay app and scan the GumPay QR code that is posted at the shop!

How does it work?

GumPay works just like other mobile payment app, if the shop supports GumPay, you can simply scan their QR code to pay them. But unlike other payment app, you don’t need to add your bank or credit card to the app. Instead, you have to physically top up in a participating shop (similar to how you top up your transit card), or have a friend to send you money from their GumPay app.

The money you top up in a shop does not limit you to use the balance only in that shop. You can use it toward any other GumPay participating shop.

How do you settle payment with the shops?

GumPay encourages users to top up their balance at the shops where they need cash the most. We offer additional “cash-back” to drive users to the shop to top up their wallet. We also have crews locally to regularly visit shops to top up their account in case the balance runs super low.

And vice versa, we also encourage users to visit the shops that sit with too much GumPay balance so you can pay with GumPay, the more customers, the happier the shop owner!
