I'm not sure what folks are talking about but this just works great. I purchased a training course that was made up of about 20 hours of video and a 250'ish page PDF of course material. Everything was accessible instantly on my phone in addition to through the Gumroad webpage. The video streaming is great looking quality wise. If I had one critique it would be really nice to send the video to my chromecast directly in the app, but I just used the screen casting option on my phone and that worked fine.

I tried to buy some music tutorials. It managed to download the PDFs just fine. Then it says 9 hours to download 4 video files over a 4gLTE connection?! And then it never downloads them. EDIT: just noticed that it burned through 1.72 GIGABYTES to download a couple PDFs, 3 mp3s, and half a video file. What the hell?!

I bought a book and can only read it in a browser since no attempt to log in even with a fresh password works. The reading experience on the website is also bad. Authors, please check out other sites to publish your book, Leanpub is a good example, users get to download PDF versions of your book and don't need to use such an abysmal service.

Good idea, but I cannot save a bookmark to continue reading next time. BTW, Gumroad is a good seller, with has 'customer first' I mind. They sent me another paperback book when the first one disappeared during delivery. So I'm sure they will fix it. :)

I bought some video tutorials from a freelance artist and needed gumroad to view on phone. It keeps downloading, never completes anything!! I can't watch anything! Who made this app? Please fix it! Wish I'd seen the reviews before purchasing. This is ridiculous and frankly, i'm appauled by the programmer who has convinced freelancers to put their work on this platform! Get to work and fix this!

really glad they made this... would rate 5 stars if there was a way to bookmark my spot. Bought a 7 hour video marker tutorial and have to write down where I leave off, only minor complaint. 👌
