Would be great if the Details buttons worked. I can only hear the sounds of the characters.

The sound on the app freezes. After years of listening to Sanskrit & Hindi chants, scripture, bhajans, etc., I find the sounds to be lacking anyway. The beauty in this app lies in using each character of the Devanagari script as a flash card. Perfect for beginners. Memorize each character of the vowel and consonant Sanskrit alphasyllabary provided, then try and read the example words given for each character. The Devanagari in this app is flawless-- these characters make it easy to visualize how conjuncts are formed. My old book by Michael Coulson has tiny font, making it impossible to read some characters. This app is definitely worth .99¢
