About this app

For the World Cup, we've launched the Third Half, the world’s 1st drinking game app dedicated to soccer. Playable before, during and after a game.

Having seen the success enjoyed by our other drinking games such as "Drink Roulette", we decided to come up with something all soccer fans have been waiting for... A completely unique app for lovers of the round ball game, big gestures and passionate fan evenings with mates.

This drinking game app will be the 12th man during your footie-filled afternoons and evenings during the World Cup. Too bad the US are not in this time. But whatever your team now, the app will make every goal, every match, every scandal even more charged with alcohol-fuelled banter - win, lose or draw.

FOUR GAMEPLAY MODES IN THE APP

MODE 1 – PREGAME

Your team isn’t on for an hour? Not a problem – use this mode to warm up, get some atmosphere into your get-together and start to show your soccer knowledge off to your mates. Remember though, you’ve still got ninety minutes ahead of you – pace yourself or you’ll be passed out by half-time! And you don’t want to miss our second mode.

MODE 2 – LIVE

Ok we’re off! With the anthems sung and starting line-ups confirmed, the ref has blown for hostilities to commence. Time for you and your mates to commence your own with our booze-fuelled rules and challenges synched with the real players and action of the game happening live on screen.

MODE 3 – AFTER THE WHISTLE

This mode is for celebrating a glorious victory with mates or drowning your sorrows after a calamitous defeat. And hearing the expert tactical analysis your beered-up mate spouts is always a laugh.

MODE 4 – PUB PUNDITS

What about when there’s no game on that day? Never fear – the Pub Pundit mode will mean you still have an excuse to break out the beers and talk soccer. With around three matches a day being played during the World Cup, this mode shouldn’t be too necessary, but for the most die-hard fans amongst you, this mode will give you an excuse to grab some footy-based beers with mates even when it isn’t game day (as if you needed one).

So now you know what Third Half Drinking game is all about. “But”, we hear you say, “the World Cup hasn’t started yet!”. Well then, do this: download the app and receive notifications just before each game gets underway.
