This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Econ 101 - Supply and Demand on PC Windows and Mac.

About this app

Changes in Supply & Demand curves can be challenging for beginning economic students. The curves are based on formulas that can have not only a price variable but two or more coefficients. Changing anyone of these can impact the curves in different ways.

I always found static analysis of these changes not very helpful. Changing a variable and plotting its impact to the slope or moving to a screen where the change has taken place, didn’t give me the intuitive learning experience. I wanted an interaction where I could change inputs hands on and watch the change happen.

This app allows you to manipulate the individual basic inputs for Supply and Demand to see instantly the effects on the slope or shifts in the curves. While this app focuses on the very basic inputs, I hope to update with additional functionality and calculators
