Groupcall Emerge puts the power of the MIS in your hand.

Emerge allows you to perform all of the below tasks wherever you are at any time of the day (or night!).

• Take Registration with marks uploaded to the school as soon as you are in WiFi or mobile data coverage.
• Access Student Details.
• Take a Register in a fire or other emergency.
• Message parents using Groupcall's Messenger service.
• Record Dinner choices during morning Registration.
• Record Assessment marks from a smartphone or tablet.
• Record Behaviour events with the ability to upload Photographic evidence.
• Log Achievement for students individually or as a group.
• View your own Staff Timetable and that of others in the school.
• See a range of summary reports.
• See whole school data across a variety of key areas of interest on the 'Today Screen'.
• Locate any student at any time in the school day by looking at their timetable with direct access to any siblings also in school.
• Review individual students' attendance summaries for early intervention and to reduce absenteeism.
• Raise a Help Me alarm.


Usage scenarios;
• Take Registration wherever you are.
- On a school trip without relying on paper or a cumbersome laptop.
- In a temporary classroom without direct MIS access.
- On the PE field with no network coverage.

• Access Student Details wherever you are.
- Contact information for use in emergencies or just to engage with parents directly.
- Medical information including notes, conditions and dietary needs.

• Message parents wherever you are using Groupcall's Messenger service.
- Use custom groups to contact, for example, all parents of the football team directly from the traffic jam on the motorway to advise of a delayed return to school without relying on traditional telephone trees, or requiring a member of staff back at school to make the announcement.

• Record Behaviour events with the ability to upload photographic evidence.
- Information is sent back to the MIS for review by other staff and then saved for future analysis in behaviour management programs.

• See a range of summary reports conveniently filtered to groups of interest.

• See whole school data across a variety of key areas of interest with the 'Today Screen'.
- Completely customised to the user and subject to user profiles for granular control of access to information.

- By presenting this information in graph form, alongside whole school summaries, students and parents can be involved in improving attendance figures.
- By making registration easier to record in the first place, attendance patterns can be spotted earlier. In traditional arrangements where registration may be paper based, there is often a delay in registration marks being entered in the MIS and so early intervention opportunities can be missed.

Fixed an issue on Android 13 and later where the app fails to launch due to permission request.

App Permissions

Allows applications to access information about networks.
Allows an application to write to external storage.
Allows an application to read from external storage.
Allows applications to access information about Wi-Fi networks.
Allows applications to open network sockets.
Allows access to the list of accounts in the Accounts Service.
Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.
Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.
