About this app

The First United Methodist Church of Santa Maria app was created to build a closer-knit community, to encourage participation in activities, and to generate prayer and support. Members can receive real time information about happenings, join in on conversations, and share photos.

First UMC is a diverse Christian family in the heart of downtown Santa Maria. We offer opportunities in music with the traditional chancel choir, Sounds of Hope Filipino Choir, children’s choir, and an open praise band. We have Sunday school for children and youth, a youth group, and seasonal bible studies. We minister to the community in our Shower Blessings program each Monday, we feed dinner at the Good Sam shelter monthly, and are active in mission projects regularly.
