The Ethel Higginbottom school was started in the year 1991. The School is named after the wife of Mr. Sam Higginbottom who founded the Allahabad Agricultural Institute. Mrs Ethelind Higginbottom served the people of Allahabad for forty-one years. In order to appreciate and honor her the school has been names as Ethel Higginbottom School.
The future and the destiny of the world is crowned by its children. "Loris Maloguzzi" believes that the child has a hundred ways of thinking, playing speaking , singing and listing. A hundred words to describe, invert and dream . The school plays very vital role in child's life because it separates the head from the body. It tells the child to think, to discover the world already there. The aim of education is to bring about an all round development in the child i.e. building character, listing moral and spiritual values while opening broadening and elevating the mind developing wisdom as well as knowledge.

My Vision of EHSC is a place where a child will be able to explore, discover and understand things on his/her own, through guidance by teachers and parents. He/she will be more of a thinking child
