The influence of atmospheric pollution on health.
In the 21st century, pollution atmoser has become a global problem No. 1. According to the World Health Organization, approximately 3.7 million people die annually due to air pollution. The main causes of air pollution.
1. Deforestation. The active use of forest resources has led to the fact that today in the world only 22% of forests are not changed under the influence of human activities. Annually 13-14 million hectares of forest are cut down. The replacement of forests in the world is only at the level of 3-5 million hectares per year. The disorderly deforestation of forests, and most importantly - their poor restoration leads to the transformation of millions of hectares of fertile land into deserts.
2. Forest fires. The UN News Center reports that annually in the world fires destroy more than 35 million hectares of forest land. Approximately half of these areas are burning in Africa. In 95 out of 100 cases people are guilty of causing fires.
3. Exhaust gases of cars. At present, 40-60% of atmospheric pollution is caused by cars, due to a sharp increase in their number. On average, about 1 kg of exhaust gas containing carbon oxides, sulfur, nitrogen, various hydrocarbons and lead compounds is released per day of the car.
4. Industrial emissions. According to the International Energy Agency, industrial emissions of carbon dioxide from 2014 are 32.1 gigaton per year. These statistics do not include emissions from industrial processes in industry.
