Aplikasi S.O.S atau Social share adalah aplikasi media sosial baru yang memanfaatkan GPS untuk berbagi informasi. Aplikasi ini mewajibkan penggunanya untuk berbagi lokasi ketika pengguna tersebut menayangkan status atau membagikan informasi.

Informasi yang dapat dibagikan dapat berupa kondisi cuaca, kemacetan, permintaan pertolongan, promo dan bisnis, lokasi toko, berkenalan, atau apa saja yang terjadi pada lokasi. Informasi ini dapat ditandai dengan ikon peta, gambar atau foto yang detail informasinya akan muncul apabila diklik.

Secara default, Informasi yang dibagikan pengguna pada aplikasi ini dapat terlihat oleh semua pengguna lain namun terbatas hanya beberapa kilometer dari lokasi pengguna atau area yang dipilih, kecuali akun pengguna yang diblokir.
