Dehari Majdoor Sangathan is an organization of laborers who work in an unorganized sector and earn daily wages. We have been constantly trying to resolve the problems of laborers by communicating with the representatives of the labor department.
This organization works in 20 labor centres in and around the labor colonies of Lucknow city and 15 labor centers in Kanpur.
At present, more than 3000 workers are collaborating with the organization in the city of Lucknow to help promote the schemes.
The organization currently has 12 units in Lucknow and 5 in Kanpur. Members of the unit committee at Chinnhat, Mulayamnagar, Takrohi, C-Block, Khurramnagar, Unity, Engineering College, Pritinagar, Triveninagar, Jajnapuram, Telibagh, Barabirwa Labor base are constantly striving for their problems.
The organization also works with workers residing in Chinhat, C-Block, Telibagh, Tadikhana, Engineering College, Shramik Sevashram Nishatganj out of 23 night shelters built in the city.
For the social security of all its members, the organization supports the registration of peers engaged in building works with the Labor Department under the Building and Other Construction Workers Act 1996.
The organization has provided support to the labor department by providing information about the law to 1500 workers so far.
In order to get the outstanding wages of the workers, the organization provides them with legal information and is a companion of their happiness and sorrow.
