Very barebones app. Selects other classmates names on top of yours and doesn't notify you when upload is complete or if it actually worked. Some errors especially with login.

About this app

Macmillan Mobile Video is a companion app to the Video Assessment Program — powered by GoReact — in the LaunchPad online course solution (http://www.launchpadworks.com). The app simplifies and facilitates video recording and posting for feedback, grading, and critique in higher education settings.

The Macmillan Mobile Video app lets you use your mobile device to submit videos directly to specified assignments in LaunchPad. You can record a new video using your device's camera or upload files stored on your device. Once you post your video submission to an assignment, it appears in the LaunchPad course and is available for feedback and grading.

Videos created within the Macmillan Mobile Video app can be trimmed before posting, so you only submit what you want to be graded. Recordings are automatically compressed for upload on your device, making upload times and bandwidth requirements as light as possible. (Macmillan Mobile Video can function over cellular networks, but you have the option to restrict it to WiFi only, to save data.) Even if there is a problem uploading your video, like an interruption in connectivity, it will be safely paused and stored on your device until you have a better Internet connection.

Macmillan Mobile Video also allows your device to serve as the camera for recording live. When you begin recording for a Live/In-Class assignment, your instructor and classmates can submit their feedback from anywhere, as long as they are logged in to LaunchPad. Their comments will be synced and time-coded with your video as soon as it’s submitted.
