A statewide working group representing government agencies, educators, parents, employers, job trainers, labor unions and others. The Partnership develops and promotes strategies to protect youth at work.

California Department of Industrial Relations, (DIR)

DIR is the government agency that enforces California’s labor laws and health and safety regulations. DIR’s mandate is to improve working conditions for California’s wage earners, and to advance opportunities for profitable employment in California. DIR’s young worker projects are coordinated by the Commission on Health and Safety and Worker’s Compensation.

Labor Occupational Health Program (LOHP)

A community outreach program of the Center for Occupational and Environmental Health (COEH) at the School of Public Health, UC Berkeley. LOHP provides training, educational materials, and information and referrals on workplace health and safety issues. LOHP serves labor, management, community organizations, health professionals, government, schools, and the general public.
