This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Flash Metronome on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.

About this app

Finally, a silent metronome that's very easy to follow along to from a distance! This metronome won't make a sound. Tap the screen to set the tempo, and the screen will flash to the beat. It works for just about any time signature.

By default, the downbeat will flash white, while the other beats will flash grey. The full version of this app allows you to select any colors you'd like.

Once the metronome is running, you can fine tune your tempo using plus/minus buttons.
