Welcome to Glimpse-Me® where we make sure there are “No More Missed Connections”. Glimpse-Me® is a location based app that allows users to interact with other users, based on what they have seen, or what has happened around them.
Did you ever see someone you wish you had had the courage to go and get their number? Perhaps you were at an event where you met an inspiring individual, which may have had essential skills for your business? You might have even witnessed damage to a vehicle and you wanted to tell the owner what had happened. All of these scenarios are now made possible with Glimpse-Me®.
To be able to use the app to its full functionality all users must register their personal details by completing the registration process within the app. Once registered you will be able to connect with other users and access all features including Encounter, Request a Friend, Random/ Bizarre, Admire/Compliment, Groups of Interest, as well as Skills and Talent.
Any user who wishes to use the Glimpse-Me® app or website must register their personal details by completing the registration process within the app.
Glimpse-Me
So, you like somebody? Simple….
Step1:
Download the Glimpse-Me ® app and register your account with us.
Step 2:
Once registered, fill in the appropriate section of the app with the time and location of your encounter, as well as the description of the person you like (including ethnicity, clothing, approximate age and other details) and submit. Wait and see if there’s a match.
Step 3:
You can also browse the Glimpse-Me® app to see if any submissions have been made by other users which match your description.
Step 4:
If there is a possible match wait to receive, or actively send, a match alert message to that user.
Step 5:
If the match alert message is accepted, begin your private chat!
Browsing Privately and Openly
You may browse the Glimpse-Me® app privately by clicking the “private” button. This option prevents other users of the Glimpse-Me® app from seeing your profile in the nearby users list.
Other Functions:
Admire/Compliment
Let that person who works at your local shop, or drives that car or hangs out in a certain place know that you like them. Search the Glimpse-Me® app for details which may relevant to you!
Request a Friend
Connect with somebody you met somewhere but don’t have the contact details of. You may want to meet that person again, or you want to thank them for helping you.
Groups of Interest
Create groups within our forums and invite other Glimpse-Me ® users to join. The forums will allow you to share and discuss common interests, passions and forthcoming events with other Glimpse-Me ® users.
Random/ Bizarre Request
Find out random information from other Glimpse-Me® users. For example, find out where a piece of clothing that you saw somebody wearing is from, an event that you missed and would like to see pictures of, or find out more information about an incident which took place at a certain time/date.
Skills and Talent Directory
Test the market before setting up a business relating to your skill or talent. This function allows you to build a client-base before starting up!
