About this app

*** Requires FLIR One Thermal Camera ***

Thermori-on is a thermal musical instrument, inspired by the "Tenori-on", and using your FLIR thermal imaging camera.

Thermori-on divides the camera's view up into cells, and measures the temperature of each. A green line sweeps over the cells and, as it does so, those cells that are hot play a note, with pitch dependent on location.

Explore the soundscapes created by the heat of your environment! Touch your surroundings to change their temperature... and their sound!
