Good app and nicely designed but a complete lack of insects for example you just have stick insects but no particular species for example spiny leaf insects where are they? Where are Goliath stick insects or even peppermint stick insects as a wildlife keeper this offered me nothing but you're on the right path its easy and looks great but you need to study and learn Australian insects rather then just generalising them I'll come back and re download in a month to see any improvements but right now its not a field guide its a children's app

About this app

The Australian Alps are home to a unique assemblage of insects, many of which are found nowhere else in the world. This app was developed as a reference for all users of Australia’s high country. It contains descriptions and images of the insects most likely to be encountered in the field, as well as some rare and hard-to- find species. The content of this app has been developed by scientists who are studying the ecology and evolution of insects in the Australian high country. Over time, we will continue to add species and refine descriptions but all users of this app are also welcome to contribute. If you have photos or information that would improve the quality of the app, please send us a message or see the "Get Involved" page within the app.
