PDM was established in the year 1995 under the Haryana Private Universities Act No. 32 of 2006 by the Haryana State Legislature as to become better by Haryana Private Universities, Act 2015.

PDM is located in the National Capital Region (NCR), the campus is one of the enhanced campuses in India which is spread over 95 acres.

University provides education to 15000 students from all over the world and there are 1200 faculty members.
