About this app

This app presents the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE) guidelines on the use of antithrombotic (blood-thinning) medications in patients undergoing various GI procedures.

The user is guided through the selection of one of 23 current medications on the market (including Novel Oral Anticoagulants) as well as the 25 listed GI procedures (from diagnostic EGD to Tumor ablation), with the addition of the patient's specific venous thromboembolic risk factors in order to provide clear, concise evidence-based guidelines provided by the ASGE.

Production of this app was funded by an Educational grant from the American Gastroenterological Association (AGA).
