Currently this app is worthless. I tried to use the scan it option at one of your stores and it never hooked into the wifi. I tried it at a different location and I was able to scan my items when I got to the register to pay the app stopped working. I get it for a little while, in reality if this is going to make my shopping experience frustrating I will go back to having no app no nattwr what the savings may be.

Infuriatingly slow, nonsensical layout, teetering on uselessness. The ScanIt scanners at the store were at least easy to use and responsive, if not outright speedy - they did save a lot of time when shopping. Alas, they have been removed, so one has to use this app to replicate that functionality, but it's so stupid and frustrating that I'd rather go to Wegmans instead.

Update - 1/4/24 - the deli order ahead feature has not worked IN MONTHS. SO frustrating!!!!!!!The new app is a nightmare. I was a FREQUENT user of the app even before the pandemic. Right now I am unable to access the app AT ALL on my phone. I get the message that it is down for maintenance and to check back later. Been like that for HOURS

How does this app keep getting worse with each new update? Constantly crashing, sometimes never even loading at all. These are simple bugs that shouldn't be that difficult to fix. Beginning in December 2023, coupons that I clipped in the app aren't being applied to my order. I stupidly threw away a receipt before checking it and then later saw that the coupons were still just clipped and never applied. I lost out on $7.50 worth of coupons that time.

Let me preclude this by mentioning that I really do love Giant; great products and noteworthy sales. However the app has quickly descended from tolerable to problematic to a virtual headache. Choice rewards disappear..unable to locate ones selected ; " Wallet " no where to be found. App moves you back and forth between website and app..further contributes slowdow n and constant login requirements. I believe Giant means well just has had a really bad stroke of luck in maintaining. Please fix♡♡♡

8/19/23 update. Yet again tried to load a Digital coupon and it only allowed the option of buying online, and it showed one 67 cent tomato at 97 cents per lb. They have lost at keast $500 since I simply went to other stores that are not difficult while offering deals. Digital coupons difficult to find, cumbersome and complicated to change to a different pickup option
