About this app

The Decimal to Fraction calculator converts a decimal to fraction or fraction to decimal.

The 'Upgrade' In-App purchase version supports repeating decimals both to and from decimal and fraction conversion. And displays your input values to an imperial inch style number line (not actual size) that is accurate to ~0.001". Very handy for easily and accurately converting decimals and odd fractions to a measuring tape.

Free mode while in fractions does not denote or terminate recurring decimal values for a true fraction to decimal conversion but gives a rounded decimal value while in fraction mode up to the 15th decimal position max.

• The app now quickly displays a recurring decimal value while working with fractions.

• The primary display will show an eclipsed decimal value and magnifying glass for a secondary view if its length is greater than the 15 position.

• Secondary view decimal value screen is customizable to view the entire returned repeating decimal on a vertical scrolling screen by clicking the magnifying glass.

• The secondary view customizable from 16 decimal places to 8 or 12 million places; depending on your devices memory. Try incrementing by a million at a time to determine best speed results for your device.

• Title bar displays a total decimal length and position the recurring decimal starts at as .##=149 ṝ=2 Which means that the total decimal length is 149 decimals long (which includes the non-repeating part) and the recurring part starts at position 2.

List usage:
a) If the inputs are empty, select the list button to fill with saved values.
b) If inputs have values, select the list button to save your displayed values.
c) "Long click" the AC button to clear the list of all values.

• 'Bump to Nearest' up or down Decimal = 0.1, 0.01, 0.001, 0.0001 or Fraction = 1/4, 1/8, 1/16, 1/32, 1/64 and 1/128 or enter your own Custom Fraction Denominator from 1/2 to 1/99999 by clicking left or right halves of numberline. Also includes a 'Bump Lock' check box setting from menu dropdown to keep from accidentally bumping. Go to Menu>Calibrate to set Bump values.
