Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Dicer on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.

About this app

This is Dicer!

This app is for you to be able to roll multiple dice for the likes of board games. No longer are the days you have to carry a bag of dice everywhere. Use it if you're on the plane, walking around a mountain, or just have no dice nearby. This app can provide you with up to four dice natively, or a large amount of dice using the custom dice feature. You can have dice of sides up to 99. I currently don't know the limit to how many dice you can have generated with this app, but on my test device if you go over a certain number the app will stall and then crash. Again, I don't know what this upper limit is, but when I put in a number like 999999 it crashed. Why don't you experiment with the app and see how many dice you can request before the app falls over. This is needed to see if certain buttons should be able to work.
