This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Greek Verb Blitz on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.

Good IDEA for an app. Plenty of room for improvement unfortunately. Two things holding it back: (1) app sometimes opens to a crash which I need to manually close. (2) missing verbs!! Here are a few off the top of my head: φτιάχνω (create/make/repair), σχεδιάζω (plan/schedule/draft), κουβαλώ (carry). Also, synonyms should be taken into consideration. For example, "get" is the same as "take" (παίρνω) in Greek. Thus, the ververb παίρνω should be listed under both.

Great idea layout but no customer service. The app keeps crashing at the verb conjugation screen. I tried to reach out to the support team and they told me that they were going to help but never did anything. They don't even answer my emails.

Learn and practise your Modern Greek verbs with this interactive verb reference and drill tool!

Flummoxed by verbs in Greek? With over 170 core verbs, Greek Verb Blitz is a clear and effective way to refresh and revise your grammar skills as well as expand your everyday vocabulary.

As well as handy verb look-up tables, there are four intensive drill activities to quiz yourself on your conjugation knowledge:

- Infinitive quiz: do you know the meaning of the each verb?
- Conjugation quiz: can you select the correct verb form for the English translation?
- Snap quiz: can you spot when the Greek and English sentences match? Try to get ten in a row!
- Gapfill: can you spell out the missing word in the conjugated sentence?

In each game, you can choose to play with just the verbs you have ticked as 'done' in the master list, or, for an extra challenge, the whole bank of verbs. The app will even track your performance throughout the games, so you can check at any time the entries you're finding trickiest. In the settings, you can choose which tenses you're tested on too, so you can learn and drill at your own pace. Active and passive verb forms are dealt with as separate entries to make things even clearer for the learner.

If you're not yet familiar with Greek script, you can even turn on full transliteration in the settings to learn and practise with Latin characters.

The verbs selected represent some of the most commonly used Greek words, so Greek Verb Blitz is a great way to increase and practise your everyday vocabulary.
