Downloaded this to help with a last minute audition for school. I have been taking a clear picture, but it either says no notes detected or it skips some. Wish I could just find an app like this that works.

Sadly, did not work correctly, though close enough to be infuriating. Desperately needs to be able to square up the page, like OfficeLens. At least be able to import pictures taken with another app. As it is, the slightest variance in angle of the page leads to the notes being played very off kilter. It might work for music with only a single part, but that's not what I need an app for. Good luck, developer!

if you want to improve this app you need to include a feature to be able to utilize all the settings in your camera. I needed to get a brighter pic or more contrast but could not so it only recognized parts of a score thus making it useless. good idea but poorly designed. fix this and I'll buy.

Pretty amazing. I would go higher rating and even pay for it if they had other instrument.

Terrible. The app wasn't scanning the notes! When I try to capture the whole page, it says "Move closer!", and when I move closer, it says "No notes detected!". This app is a disgrace!

No notes detected. You could use a 700MP camera and this crappy app won't detect notes.

About this app

UPDATED - the crash on the latest OS version has now been fixed!

This is the time limited trial of iSeeNotes, it has all the features of the paid version but the copy will stop working after 72 hours.

UPDATED: Now supports load/save of captures and export to MIDI!
Note that loading from the image library is not supported, only loading previously saved captures.

NOTE: Music recognition is a difficult problem. This app does not support the complete set of notation, for instance whole notes and the alto clef are not recognized. Depending on how the print looks and the quality of the photo the app may have trouble recognizing the notes and symbols correctly - do not expect perfect results!
