This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Gears Mobile on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. Gears Mobile is a mobile application with real-time integrated back-end communication with your Microsoft Dynamics NAV installation. The standard application supports offline mode and enables specified calls to be made either through scheduled or real-time calls.

Gears Mobile is an application enabling company presentations and the presentation of Microsoft Dynamics NAV derived catalogues. Product descriptions are provided based on the information in NAV and additional data can also be added. Products can be ordered online and subject to preferred configuration orders can be submitted as quotes, orders or favourite lists subject to user preference. Orders can be submitted directly into Microsoft Dynamics NAV.

Additional functionality includes barcode scanning functionality and significant additional development is in progress.
