This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing CSC on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.

About this app

Civil Service College is building a Whole-of-Government digital learning platform. When the platform is built, it will offer micro-resources and just-in-time collaborative learning for public officers. Officers will be able to take charge of their learning and development, and gain new knowledge and skills on-the-go. They will also be able to create and share knowledge and ideas. That is what we hope to build in the next year or so.

This POC learning application is our rapid prototype to help us validate the design the future learning platform to better meet our officers’ needs. It is not the final product with a full resource library. Like a first draft of a report or paper, we expect that there will be missing points or sections. What a first draft needs are comments and feedback for rewrites. Hence, we are testing now, in order to fail early and learn fast.
