About this app

Wood was the first material that human beings took with their natural stones. The first priority was to use the wood to cook and warm the hunt, and it has a wide range of architectural uses from everyday items.
Techniques Used in Wooden Art
1) Kundekari technique: The kundekari technique, which is mostly used on the door wings and the side mirrors, is the technique that requires the most unique and difficult workmanship. This technique is formed by connecting geometric shapes to each other by means of crossing. Wooden parts and corrugated wooden beams are intertwined and bonded together without the use of adhesives and nails. There is also a wooden skeleton below the surfaces so that the pieces do not separate when the wood dries out because the pieces are intertwined. The first examples are XII. It is seen that in the centuries, Egypt, Aleppo and Anatolia developed parallel to each other in three centers.
2) False kundakari: This technique, which is very common in pulverizer, door and window shutters, shows differences within itself, with flaking and embossing, cracking and gluing. In this technique, it is seen that wooden blocks consisting of octagonal and hexagonal geometric shapes are formed side by side. The grooves between the wooden blocks that bring the geometric shapes to the square are either fastened with nails or glue. It is seen that in the works made with this technique, which is rougher and less laborious, there are crevices in the course of time when the wood dries.
3) Flat surface (deep) carving technique: In this technique the motifs are indicated by deep carving from the wood surface and the details are not processed.
4) Deep carving technique with round surface: In this most commonly used technique, reliefs are machined on a round, rough surface. There are many different examples in the writings.
5) Double-layer relief technique: It is seen that deep-carved technique with flat surface and deep-carved technique with round surface have double layer motif on the wooden surface. Writings and inscriptions are very common.
6) Spinning technique: The best examples of this technique, made by draining the motifs drawn on the wooden material, are seen on pulpit railings.
7) Painting technique on wood: It is possible to see this technique in wooden mosques and mosques' column headings, consoles, ceiling, eaves, crates and chameleon beams. This painted ornament, mostly worn and worn today, was usually made with vaccination. The lotus, palmette, rumi, rosette and pomegranate flowers are processed as pencil work in a symmetrical arrangement in various colors.
RUMI: Rumi, which has an important place in decoration, has been used in every period, every style in stone, in china, in fabric, in mine, in illumination and in wood. Rumi motif XV and XVI. the most advanced state of art in the art of the centuries. In addition to the occasional differences in the arrangement of ruminin, the purpose of use in the pattern and the obligation to install it are also different.
