This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing PDG PROmote 2023-2025 on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

Used this app for E-5 testing. Wanted to use it for E-6 Testing, but I work in a secure area and I can't use my phone. Their solution was for me to spend more money for the same product so I can use it on my desktop with the excuse of "we had to develop a new app." This is dumb. They should look into either increasing the initial pay and give the user access to both PC and app. Maybe even off a discount for the PC version if you already own the app. Not full price for both. The USAF always spoke about flexibility and this app is in fact not.

I think the App is great, let's get that out of the way first. Second, It seems that only some parts of a specific unit is available to look at (i.e. only section 2C or 3A) for testing for a specific rank. Is it like that for a reason to not add all the sections for a chapter or is it to streamline and funnel the most important information quicker?

Questions seem ok, but there is an issue with the app crashing whenever you attempt to resume a test. Sent in a crash report and email.

I wanted to give this 3.5 stars. While it offers all of the study material you need (via flash cards), there are a couple annoying issues. They haven't really disrupted my studies, however it just seems like the content reviewers got a little lazy. First off, the cards are littered with typos. It seems like 1 out of every 20 cards has some sort of error. Second, there's a neat feature that allows you to 'pick up where you left off' from a section, however, it rarely works for me = frustrating

There's currently a bug that crashes the app every time you hit resume test when trying the end of course test for TSgt when testing for all questions. Other than that great app.

The overall value of the app is the best in the market. The only reason I marked it as 4 stars, is due to the voice readings. When you are trying to listen to it and you rotate your phone the voice shuts off and does not start back where you were. Also it would be nice if it pronounced the information correctly and displayed pictures of certain things like the ranks or ribbons that the question is pertaining to. For $30 there should be better programing then this. Everything else is great!

PDG PROmote is an application aimed to prepare Airmen who are taking the Air Force Promotion Fitness Examination (PFE) or the USAFSE-United States Air Force supervisory examination. Its sole source of reference is The Study Guide for Promotion to (TSgt), 1 October 2023 and The Study Guide for Promotion to (SSgt), 1 November 2022. All study guides are sourced from Air Force Handbook 1 (AFH 1) dated 1 November 2022. Just select the appropriate study guide for the promotion grade that you are testing to and begin studying!
