About this app

Offline application for the futhark

Runes have been used to predict, make important decisions, and protect. In our time, technologies have supplemented the ancient knowledge, the mobile application is more reliable than stone, wood, bone, or paper. Runes have ceased to be a lot of the elect, now everyone can influence their destiny.

The three best-known runic alphabets are the Elder Futhark (around 150–800 AD), the Anglo-Saxon Futhorc (400–1100 AD), and the Younger Futhark (800–1100 AD). The Younger Futhark is divided further into the long-branch runes (also called Danish, although they were also used in Norway and Sweden); short-branch or Rök runes (also called Swedish-Norwegian, although they were also used in Denmark); and the stavlösa or Hälsinge runes (staveless runes). The Younger Futhark developed further into the Medieval runes (1100–1500 AD), and the Dalecarlian runes (around 1500–1800 AD).

The Elder Futhark rune casting is an ancient method that can aid in decision-making. It is a clever system that predicts future fates or opens your question to alternative ways of looking at it.

The Elder Futhark runes are ancient Nordic alphabets. There are 24 runes each with literal and mythological meanings that change when the rune appears upside down.

Elder Futhark is the Runic Transliterator. It is a tool designed to help you memorize the Runes and some of their basic attributes in a fun, fast way. Touch the screen to take a quiz. Touch the item on the right that matches the one on the left. If you get it right - touch the screen again for another quiz. Your session score will show at the top of the home screen.

Ancient Germans believed in the power of runic inscriptions, and in this game, it will be proposed to arrange the runes of the senior future in the correct sequence. A similar arrangement made for ritual purposes, we can observe on the artifacts of antiquity.
