Installed the new apps but everyday giving downloading problem. Why change to the new apps when the older version is okay? Furthermore should solve all the technical problem before launching the new version. Please fix it asap. Keep uninstalling and reinstalling the apps but downloading problem. Really tedious and irritating. Is it that your apps does not support Samsung Tab A? Does that mean I need to buy a new tablet to fet access to your epaper? Then I will not renew my subscription next yr.

For TheStar to champion digitalization of newspaper, this app is utterly embarrassing. Each "update" breaks something. Example: Connectivity error, Error file: 5961 | Main. I've cleared cache, reinstalled, but no dice. Not to mention, the app is slow and does not give proper user feedback when anything is pressed. @Alex Yeow @Wong Chun Wai, what's with this incompetent app team? Edit: Thanks, it finally works. Edit 07/05/2021: Connectivity Error is back. TERRIBLE

Totally getting worst on each update. Now when I look into Google play, it says this Ppmay not be compatible with my device. Seriously! I'm using galaxy tab! Now every download gets hang. I've done uninstall/install like it's a norm now. When will we get a stable, reliable, no stress reading app, I wonder. Just bring back the old version for goodness sake and save us from all these hassles that we HAVE TO PAY.

Do you even care? Looking at all the complaints and low ratings here but nothing much has improved. Still not as good as the previous app even. No memory to continue from the last page read and no selection for auto download (I don't need to download ALL SECTIONS just because I select auto download). These are all available functions in YOUR previous app.

Suggestion: Replace the new app with the old app only after you have fixed all the bugs on this new app. Everyday there is at least 1 section will not be downloaded 100%. With just 99.9%, you will still not able to open it. What's the point if I cant read all the sections. Will you do a refund or extend my subscription?

In the recent 1 week, the download e paper, some e paper section opens, some sections does not open with an error message to download again. However, error remains with the e paper section not opening. What is the problem Star???? Pls make the app reliable.....
