This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Kruger and Bushveld trees, shrubs and wild flowers on PC Windows and Mac.

About this app

Field guide with some plants found in the Kruger National Park and surrounding Bushveld.

The objective is to enable any person to identify plants using a unique multi-access identification key which allows a user to freely choose which characteristic to use for identification and for the recording observations.

- find all species know (including those not complete in app) for a given location in Kruger
and surrounding bushveld.

- multi-access identification key for plant growth form, flowers, fruit and leaves

- filter by species that you know or don’t know.

- create multiple checklists.

- the checklist also maintains a work list of species. The species that have been added to
a checklist are listed in a work list for easy re-selection.

- work list can also be loaded with species known for an area of interest.

- all species found in southern Africa are listed in the checklist search – thus app can thus
be used in other areas for research.

- export + email checklist to yourself as a csv file to be viewed in MS Excel (Excel format:
Date |Lat |Lng | Scientific| Scientific with Authors Name |Genus |Family |Notes) For
latitude and longitude just give GPS permission from Location screen.

- switch main screen name labels to scientific or other languages (depending id common
names exist for a given species)

- works offline (limited online requirements)
