There are sporadic issues with the e-receipt scan feature not working properly. Sometimes it doesn't scan new receipts, other times it does. I'm missing out on points because I shop online 90% of the time. Update: After a year of using Fetch, the receipt issue has improved. Rarely do I experience any major issues with the app, and if I do, the Fetch Team responds quickly with problem resolution. I love the app and would definitely recommend it to friends.

I have been using fetch regularly without any issues. However, since Christmas, I have been encountering a problem where it says I cannot scan until a specific date. On that date, I am only able to scan 1 or 2 receipts before receiving the same message with a later date. This is frustrating and a waste of time, especially since there is a 14-day limit on receipt expiration. This issue needs immediate attention as it is affecting my overall experience with fetch.

I don't understand how to play the new game to get points. It just sits there. UPDATE: My Fetch App needed an update to access game play. Still a few bugs to work out, like watching an ad for bonus items, I'm not returned to the game. If you contact Fetch, they do answer and try to help. I like this option over the daily spin where I rarely won anything beyond 25 points. Also, I do not have receipts to add every day, but I still can collect points. With a few tweeks, this could easily be 5 🌟.

Build up points for rewards in gift cards. Lots of choices. I've tried several of these but have found Fetch to be the best. 👌 If a problem does occur they are on it! UPDATE! Fetch still takes receipts but even better, now you can play selected games on their app, which helps build up more points. Takes a while if you don't play a lot, but hey, points add up.

It's great when it scans email properly, but it never pulls my Hy-Vee receipts. I've done all the trouble shooting multiple times and have emailed customer service several times. They are always willing to put my receipt in for me, but I don't have time to email them back and forth every single week. Very frustrated. 12/29/23 update - app has gotten even worse. Won't pull any receipts from any other apps now. Deleted app, reinstalled, cleared cache, did all the things they say to do. Nothing.

Ah, yet more examples of enshittification at its finest. First, they upped the amount of points you need in order to get anything worthwhile. Now they've introduced the same worthless spam other apps have, trying to entice you to download terrible games in order to get more points. "but u can earn even more points!!!" Yeah no. No thanks, hard pass.
