Atse Tewodros (አባ ታጠቅ ካሳ , ዳግማዊ አፄ ቴዎድሮስ, የቋራው አንበሳ, መይሳው ካሳ) was Emperor of Ethiopia from 1855 until his death. He was born Kassa Hailegiorgis ካሳ ኃይሉ. His rule is often placed as the beginning of modern Ethiopia, ending the decentralized Zemene Mesafint.

Atse Tewodros was one of the prominent figure in Ethiopian History. He is a symbol of unity and heroism in contemporary Ethiopian State of mind.
